Even with water pooling up to his ankles, and rising, thick smoke rises from bright fires that had cascaded across the large machine. Automated fire suppression systems were quickly being overwhelmed by either the mass of the blaze, or a stray shot that had burned into a brave deployed extinguisher probe or two. This entire portion of the sector was going to be without a public source of clean water unless they had backups of their own. Those weren't cheap to maintain or use for the several days at least it'd take for this to be repaired. Moral quandaries buzzing through his head are interrupted by his comlink.

"Water lines are down, and evidence is confirmed to be placed. Mission accomplished. Vanish, and meet at rendezvous point C."

Roughly in the same time period, two more operatives had made a move. One, a Sith Warrior, the other an Agent, both carrying simple objectives with side tasks to blacken the Templar's eye. Dullon completes his mission without relative incident due to minimal interference from DT forces.

Dullon keeps both pistols forward as thick durasteel doors hiss open in front of him. It was too quiet in comparison with his previous attack, flickers of lights burning through the dark innards of the small facility with his first step. The last thing he expects was silence, not even a single muzzle flash to break the hum of various machines. Two steps, three steps, ten, then Dullon reflexively spins, unloading his blasters in a clean three-hundred sixty degree arc, none of which finding purchase on any stealthed opponents. Dullon levels his blasters on higher catwalks, with none yet carrying opponents.

"This place is dead. Did they evacuate?"

"I can see that option, but the generator in front of you is your primary concern. Set it to blow. Plant incriminating evidence toward the Templars. Even if it doesn't stick, this will bring Hutt attention not in their favor."

"Understood."

Dullon begins planting explosives on top of the beast, after deploying search probes in a neat triangle around him.

"Make it quick. It looks like they have concluded their business in another sector."

"You can come down here and give me a few pointers at this if you want to be pushy about it."

The distant buzzing culminates in the first sputter of blaster fire sailing over his shoulder. Dullon's hurried pace immediately starts veering in a diagonal Z forward. Tilting his posture to return fire, the Mercenary can see the elegant design of the small airborn droid leaning away from his pistols blasts. Getting clipped slows it down enough for another bolt to punch into its frame, then another, before spiraling to the ground. The adrenaline rush of victory was going to be put to use when four more start closing in.

"Gonna run out of blaster packs before they run outta these things!"

"Keep running toward your objective. Ordinance will be deployed."

Attempts to aim were replaced with furious blind-fire, with boots thudding across the ominously empty streets completely drowned out by pinging bolts skittering closer to them. It didn't matter if suppressing fire took down two, three, four, six, when more would just skitter eagerly to take their place. The first piercing sting slamming into his back shunts his balance forward, and puts him on his chest. Reflex kicks in when staccato's of further fire belches out from several distant rooftops, and in an instant the closest wave of them melt against a surprise assault. His lungs were on fire, muscles sore, aim unsteady, but the Mercenary shoulders through a rickety gate leading into a private alley.

One gun is trained upon the entrance, where now a gate is on the ground, and another deeper into the alley. Rapid fire coming from behind him ends, and much to his relief, so did that ominous buzz. Dullon stops, takes a knee, and begins refreshing his armaments. Heat needed to be vented, and his spent blaster packs needed recharging.

"You're still alive. Good. Circle around, and you'll hit the distribution center. Expect resistance on site from security and DT personnel."

The brief firefight ends when the last droid standing crumples into a motionless heap. Scorch marks burn dangerously close to where the dual-wielding assailant had fell back, but they hadn't the reflexes to strike true before being gunned down. Dullon picks himself up, both blaster barrels smoking when he takes a knee next to one of the fallen automatons. A sample of the armor and wiring can tell his employers what kind of weapon is needed to most effectively take them down.

"We've centered a secondary target for you. About a mile off, is a water distribution center. Destroying it leaves them without clean water for the time it takes to repair it, and drains excess credits to do so with flooding."

"Does the distributor hook up to the rest of the sector too?"

"Yes."

Dullon hears a mechanical buzz whirring in the distance, which comes closer by the seconds. The Merc stands, and after a few moments, realizes that there wasn't just one! The mechanical chorus must have included close to a dozen encroaching droids.

"Drones. Move."

"Intelligence places many high value Dark Templar assets several sectors away, including an incoming stealth vessel capable of orbital drops. Your mission: perform hit and runs at their defenses, cause damage, and engage with their forces on the ground. Live or die, combat data will give us the edge in future encounters."

"How do they get away with all that on a Hutt turf? Pubs can't get away with it, let alone us."

"Not important. Not to you."

"You have a real charm, you know that?"

It was muggy, dark, miserable, so things were on course for an average Nar Shaddaa day in a gang controlled slum. At once, their presense is halted for several miles until Dullon spots a patrol of a uniformed blaster wielding man, and three taller droids. Two of the droids wielded rifles, and the last was a sleeker close quarters model with a V-blade. Dullon doesn't cease his staredown when the uniformed man readies his rifle, and barks out a simple command.

"Identify yourself or leave the premises immediately!"

(Here's how this thread works! Ritvebi, Qyx, Zithrana, Nevil, Enalis, Beskoda, Ish'ka, are all away from home, which means that they aren't going to be able to intercede in this attack. It will be up to the current defense forces, or other characters to fight Dullon and other agents in the area. If nobody posts for the defenses behalf in two days, it is assumed Dullon succeeds in his current goal.)

Dullon replies after shifting his weight to the heels of his feet. "Trouble."

Two blasters find their place from his sides, to his hands as he'd fall to his back, streaming a dizzying salvo of fire toward the group.
