re: Rank Revisions Explained.

0

With the overhaul of the guild in progress, one of the many changes we have made is to the ranking system used within the guild. The old system was stale, static, and outside of raiding- provided nearly no opportunity for advancement within the guild. We are striving to create a system that allows for played development and advancement, without creating an overabundance of ranking systems that lead to the development of niche groups and clicks and superiority complexes.

Here are the new rank

  • Dark Archon- The Leader of the Dark Templar Order (Guild Grandmaster)
  • The Dark Hand- The Inner Circle of the Dark Templar Order (Admins)
  • Dark Paragon- The High Lords of the Dark Templar Order (Moderators)
  • Dark Seneschal- Warleaders of Great Distinction (These are members that are considered shining examples within the guild. They also have the ability to recruit and invite new players to the guild)
  • High Dark Templar- The Elite Warriors within the Dark Templar Order (Formerly the raiding rank, this rank will serve as a distinction for loyal and veteran members, avid role players, and members who fully embrace the guild as their own.)
  • Dark Templar- The Backbone of the Dark Templar Order (This rank has changed little, it is the base member)
  • Acolyte- Initiates to the Dark Templar Order (Probationary member.)

As you can see there have been a few rank additions and changes. The raid only rank has been re-purposed and there is no longer a rank that can be achieved only through raiding. While raiding will greatly influence some of the powers that be in hastening your promotion, it is in no shape or form required to progress within the guild.

These ranks are meant to provide additional venues and ideas for role playing stories, they are not meant to be used as a way to flaunt a false superiority over members. Members who abuse their ranks will be punished.
